The Studies
Pecan oil, derived from both roasted and non-roasted pecans, was compared to olive oil by taste testers.
The study reveals that saturated fats, known as "bad" fats, can raise LDL cholesterol levels.
On the other hand, monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, considered "good" fats, help reduce LDL cholesterol while increasing HDL cholesterol.
